Mornings in Malta are usually a nightmare, especially during school season. After a couple of weeks with a breath of fresh air with traffic, reality hit Malta hard today.
Traffic flowing through Attard was at a standstill following an accident between a truck and a car. The St Dorothy roundabout in Żebbuġ barely moved an inch all the way up to Qormi.
This morning’s traffic following yesterday’s rain shower highlights the need for a reliable public transport service. Ironically, Lovin Malta posted today about how Malta’s car population is closing in on the population figure. The report claims that over 400,000 cars are now registered on Maltese Roads.
